Williams celebrated play, Marlon Brando and Kim Hunter star as
the brutish Stanley Kowalski and meek Stella (Kim Hunter) a New
Orleans couple whose lives are turned upside down with the arrival
of Stella's spinsteresque, neurotic, Southern belle sister Blanche
(Vivien Leigh) who is immediately drawn into a battle of wills
