Classic Charlie Chaplin
comedy set against the backdrop of the Alaskan gold rush. When
theTramp (here The Lone Prospector) is trapped in a mountain
cabin with two other fortune hunters, Chaplin can manage to make
even starvation funny, culminating in the memorable scene of
him cooking a boot. Back in town, the Tramp falls for a dance-hall
girl (Georgia Hale), but it seems impossible that she could ever
notice him.
