BaitWhen the Federal Gold Reserve is broken into by a criminal mastermind (Hutchison), the chief investigator (Morse) uses human "bait" (Jamie Foxx) to lure him out into the open.

Forty-two million in gold has been stolen from the Federal Reserve and only one of the thieves was caught. To catch the mastermind behind the heist of the decade, the U.S. Treasury Department is going to need fresh bait. JAMIE FOXX, star of the hit action drama "Any Given Sunday" and acclaimed for his work on "The Jamie Foxx Show" and "In Living Color," stars as Alvin Sanders, a down-on-his-luck thief whose fortune is about to change for the worse. Landing in jail for a petty theft crime, Alvin finds himself sharing a cell with John Jaster (ROBERT PASTORELLI), the incarcerated half of the pair of high-tech thieves responsible for the missing gold. His partner, Bristol (DOUG HUTCHISON), is still at large. Alvin wants only to get out of prison and start fresh with his girlfriend, Lisa (Kimberly Elise), and when the Feds, led by U.S. Treasury investigator Clenteen (DAVID MORSE), set him loose on a sketchy deal, he thinks his luck has finally changed. Alvin has his freedom and the Feds have found their bait.

Jamie Foxx, David Morse, Doug Hutchison, Kimberly Elise and Robert Pastorelli star in "Bait," a high-tech action comedy from the director of "The Replacement Killers,"ANTOINE FUQUA. The film also stars DAVID PAYMER ("The Hurricane," "Mumford") as Wooly, a member of Clenteen's team of investigators; MIKE EPPS ("Next Friday," "Strays") as Stevie, Alvin's scheming brother; and JAMIE KENNEDY ("Three Kings," "Scream") as Blum, another member of Clenteen's team.
