Around the World in 80 DaysSet in the late 19th century, Phileas Fogg (David Niven), an Englishman makes a bet that he can travel around the world in 80 days. He and his valet Passepartout (Cantinflas) fly through Europe in a hot-air balloon, they travel by train in America and by ship across the Pacific. When they finally complete the loop, Fogg believes he has lost the bet, but the time difference has afforded him an extra day and he has, in fact, won. Shot in over 100 locations. Academy Award Nominations: 8, including Best Director. Academy Awards: 5, including Best Picture, Best (Adapted) Screenplay.
