Joel Schumacher directs Andrew Kevin Walker's script,
a gritty look at the world of snuff porno. Nicolas Cage is a
seedy private eye hired by a woman to discover the origin of
a snuff film found in her dead husband's vault. Joaquin Phoenix
will play Cage's guide to the snuff film world. James Gandolfini
will portray a shady porno filmmaker. Catherine Keener, Peter
